Malaysia’s new ambassador to Chile, Mohamad Rameez Yahaya, met with the executive vice-president of the Foreign Investment Committee (CIEChile) this morning to discuss the main areas of collaboration between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two authorities also talked about opportunities in the principal economic sectors and undertook to collaborate in future activities in both Chile and Malaysia.

Malaysia is a member of Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) and, like Chile, of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement.
