The principal business meeting between China, Latin America and the Caribbean will take place this year in Punta del Este between November 30 and December 2.

The China-LAC summit, which will be attended by over 400 Chinese companies as well as authorities from China and around Latin America, is organized by the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Uruguay XXI and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Chile will be represented by its ambassador for Asia-Pacific, former President Eduardo Frei. The InvestChile team will also be there, with a busy schedule of meetings with potential Chinese investors, reinforcing the work carried out a few months ago in ChileWeek and the upcoming inauguration of the agency’s first Investment Promotion Office in China.
